张家港保税港区（原规划图）
张家港保税区于1992年10月经国务院批准设立，2008年成功升级为张家港保税港区，成为我国目前政策最优惠、功能最齐全、通关最便捷的特殊经济区域。经过多年开发建设，形成了滨江新城、保税港区、装备工业区、化工园区、环保新材料产业园区、资源再生示范园区、香山双山风景区“一城六区”的发展格局，区域面积达147平方公里，户籍人口18万。累计吸引4000多家企业进区落户，形成了物流、化工、装备三大支柱产业。
Zhangjiagang Bonded Port Area
Set up with the approval of the State Council in October 1992, Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone successfully transformed into Zhangjiagang Bonded Port Area in 2008. It has now become a special economic area with favorable policy, complete functions and convenient customs clearance in China. With years of development, Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone has set up a new format for development of “one town and six districts”, namely Binjiang New Town, Bonded Port Area, Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, Chemical Industrial Park, Environmentally Friendly New Material Industrial Park, Resource Recycling Demonstration Park, Xiangshan& Shuangshan Scenery Area. The Zone covers an area of 147 square kilometers with a residential population of 180,000. More than 4,000 enterprises have come to the zone and set up their business here and three pillar industries such as logistics, chemicals, equipment manufacturing have been formed.

张家港经济技术开发区位于张家港市的主城区，于1993年经省政府批准设立，2011年升级为国家级经济技术开发区，规划面积153平方公里，常住人口53万人。已建成太阳能光伏产业园、高世代玻璃基板产业园、现代装备制造产业园、国际服务外包示范区、新型工业化示范基地、节能减排特种装备产业园等省级特色产业园，苏州大学工研院成功落户，再制造示范基地和软件动漫产业园正在建设，智能电力研究院获批建设省级产业技术研究院，全区已形成机械、电子、纺织、冶金、汽配、食品等六大主导产业。
Zhangjiagang Economic & Technological Development Zone
Located in the downtown of Zhangjiagang City, set up with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Government in 1993, Zhangjiagang Economic & Technological Development Zone was successfully updated to the state level in 2011. It covers an area of 153 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 570,000. It has established a set of provincial featured industrial parks namely Photovoltaic Industrial Park, Advanced Line Glass Substrate Industrial Park, Modern Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, International Outsourcing Demonstration Zone, New-type Industrialization Demonstration Base, and for Energy Conservation Equipment Industrial Park. Industrial Research Institution of Suzhou University has landed, Remanufacturing Industrial Demonstration Base and Software and Animation Industrial Park are under construction. Smart Grid Research Institute has been approved provincial industrial technological institute. Six leading industries namely mechanics, electronics, textile, metallurgical, auto parts and food have been formed in the zone.
江苏扬子江国际冶金工业园
江苏扬子江国际冶金工业园是江苏省人民政府于2003年1月批准设立的特色产业园区，规划面积36.8平方公里。园区产业定位是以沙钢集团和张家港浦项不锈钢有限公司为核心，建成以钢铁制造、金属加工为主业，以机械制造、汽车配件、新型材料为延伸产业的新型工业基地和钢铁物流基地。依托产业特色和区域优势，规划建设以总投资约300亿元沙钢集团玖隆钢铁物流为骨干的“冶金物流中心”，打造最具规模的现代化冶金物流产业基地。
Jiangsu Yangtze International Metallurgical Industrial Park
Jiangsu Yangtze International Metallurgical Industrial Park is a characteristic industrial park founded in January 2003 with the approval of People’s Government of Jiangsu Province with a planned area of 36.8 square kilometers. The Park aims at building a new-type industrial base and steel logistics base, centering around Shagang Group and Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and taking the steel producing and metal processing as the main industry and machinery manufacturing, auto fittings and new-type materials as the extending industry. Relied on its industrial features and location advantages, it plans to build a modern and scaled metallurgical logistics industrial base centered by the 30 billion-yuan Shagang Group Jiulong Steel Logistics Park.
江苏扬子江国际化学工业园
江苏扬子江国际化学工业园于2001年5月经江苏省人民政府批准设立，总规划面积24平方公里，是高端精细化学工业园。建立以来，美国道康宁、陶氏、雪佛龙，日本丰田合成、旭化成，德国瓦克，挪威佐敦等一批世界500强和知名大型化工企业相继落户，2010年获批全国首家生态示范园区。化工园建有自己的热电厂、污水处理厂、自来水厂、港口码头、热网管线、绿化景点等配套设施，实现了高标准的“九通一平”，是长江流域配套功能最优越的化工产业园。今后将围绕丙烯深加工、有机硅、锂电池三大产业链，加快打造千亿级化工产业板块，把园区建成产业链结构较完整、全面接轨国际、具有国际竞争力的化工园区。
Jiangsu Yangtze International Chemical Industrial Park
Jiangsu Yangtze International Chemical Industrial Park, an advanced specialty chemical industrial park with an area of 24 square kilometers, was established in May, 2001 under the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Government. Several Fortune 500 companies and world renowned chemical giants have set up their business here since its establishment, such as Dow, Dow Corning and Chevron from the USA, Toyoda Kosei, Asahi Kasei from Japan, Wacker from Germany and Jotun from Norway. In 2010, it became the country’s first ecologic demonstration park. In the park it has such supporting facilities as heat and power plant, sewage treatment plant, water supply plant, port and berths, heat pipeline and landscaping, making it the best chemical industrial park with excellent facilities in the Yangtze River area. In future, the park will be built into an internationally competitive chemical industrial park with complete industrial chain of propylene deep processing, organic silicon and lithium battery.
