双山香山旅游度假区由双山岛和香山两个部分构成。双山岛位于张家港市西北郊，全岛面积约20平方公里，其中江堤内约16平方公里，江堤外滩涂湿地4平方公里，环岛岸线16.8公里。岛上河道成网，绿树成荫，湿地生态良好，地热资源丰富，成陆百年来无任何工业企业入驻，是长江中下游地区原始生态环境保持最完好的岛屿之一。2012年获评”江苏省级旅游度假区”。

香山位于保税区（金港镇）西侧，与双山岛隔江相望，度假区规划面积6.69平方公里，2014年5月创建国家AAAA级旅游景区。未来，双山香山旅游度假区将围绕国家级旅游度假区、全域旅游核心区、生态文明示范区”三区同创”目标，打造苏南旅游的新名片。

Shuangshan Island and Xiangshan Mountain Tourist Resort  consists of Shuangshan Island and Xiangshan Mountain.  Shaungshan Island is located in the northwest suburb of Zhangjiagang, with an area of about 20 km2, including 16 km2  within the riverbanks and 4 km2 of wetland outside. It also has 16.8 km of island coastline. The island boasts a network of rivers, lined green trees, an excellent wetland ecosystem and rich geothermal resources. Without any industrial enterprises for a hundred years, it is among the "Virgin Islands" with best-preserved original ecological environment in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The island was honored as "Jiangsu provincial­ level tourist resort" in 2012.

Xiangshan Mountain is located on the west side of the bonded area (Jingang Town), facing Shuangshan Island across the river. The tourist resort has a planned area of 6.69 km2. In May 2014, it was rated as a Grade AAAA scenic spot. In the future, centering on building a state-level tourist resort, core area of all-in-one tourism and ecological civilization demonstration zone, Shuangshan Island and Xiangshan Mountain Tourist Resort will create a new name card of tourism in southern Jiangsu province.
