江苏扬子江国际冶金工业园是江苏省特色工业园区，张家港市锦丰镇先后获”国家卫生镇”“中国绿色名镇”“全国环境优美镇”等称号，成功实现”全国文明镇”三连冠。2013年10月份，冶金工业园、锦丰镇实行”区政合一”管理体制。园镇区域面积114平方公里，现有各类企业1800多家，世界500强企业3家，规上企业157家，销售超5000万元企业79家，境内上市企业5家，培育高新技术企业105家，形成新材料、新医疗、新能源、新经济”3+N”产业体系，获评江苏省制造突出贡献奖，位列中国乡镇综合竞争力百强第6位、全国综合实力千强镇第9位。
Jiangsu Yangtze River International Metallurgical Industrial Park(YMIP) is a characteristic industrial park in Jiangsu Province. Jinfeng Town has successively won the titles of "National Sanitary Town", "China Green Town" and "National Beautiful Town", and has successfully achieved three consecutive championships of "National Civilized Town". In October 2013, the YMIP and Jinfeng Town implemented the management system of "the integration of development zone and local government". It covers an area of 114 km2, with more than 1,800 enterprises, 3 Fortune 500 companies, 157 above scale enterprises, 79 enterprises with sales of over 5 million yuan, 5 domestic listed companies, and 105 high-tech enterprises. It has formed a "3+N" industrial system of new materials, new medical care, new energy and new economy. It has been awarded the Jiangsu Provincial Manufacturing Outstanding Contribution Award, and ranked 6th in the Top 100 Comprehensive Competitiveness of Townships in China and 9th in the Top 1,000 Towns in China in terms of comprehensive strength.
