凤凰镇位于张家港市南大门，镇域面积78.8平方公里。先后获评”全国千强镇、全国环境优美乡镇、中国历史文化名镇、中国吴歌之乡、国家级卫生镇、国家AAAA级旅游景区”；镇区以新材料、新装备、新能源三大规模经济板块为主导，以古镇、温泉、寺庙、山水等旅游元素为主导的现代服务业迅速崛起，入选 “全国发展改革试点小城镇、江苏省强镇扩权改革试点镇、苏州市美丽城镇示范点、江南水乡世界文化遗产预备名录”。
Fenghuang Town is located at the South Gate of Zhangjiagang, covering an area of 78.8 km2. It has won honors like National Top Thousand Town, China's Environmentally Beautiful Town, China's Famous Historical and Cultural Town, China's Hometown of Wu Songs, National Sanitary town and National Grade AAAA Scenic Spot. The town centers on three industries, new materials, new equipment and new energy, and has seen a rapid rise of a modern service sector based on ancient towns, hot springs, temples, mountains and rivers. The town was listed as the National Pilot for Small Town Development & Reform, Strong Town Authority Escalation Reform Pilot of Jiangsu province, and Beautiful Town Demonstration Site of Suzhou. It was included in the Tentative List of World Heritage of Ancient Waterfront Towns in the South of the Yangtze River.
