常阴沙现代农业示范园区位于张家港东部，紧邻长江，是张家港市唯一以农业为主的整建制园区，行政区域面积37.5平方公里，拥有3.6万亩集中连片的标准化农田，是”国家级农业产业化示范基地”、”江苏省现代农业产业园”、”江苏省现代农业科技园”，是苏州乃至于苏南地区工业化背景下唯一的都市绿洲。按照”发展现代农业和乡村旅游”的板块定位，园区将全力加快现代农业提档升级，推动全域旅游发展，打造全省一流的农旅融合产业化发展示范区，全力构建”村在景中，人在绿中，碧水蓝天”的沿江生态典范。
Changyinsha Modern Agricultural Demonstration Park is located in eastern Zhangjiagang, next to the Yangtze River. It is the only agriculture-oriented park in Zhangjiagang, with an administrative area of 37.5 km2, and a cultivated area of 36,000 mu (2,400 hectares). It has been earmarked as the National Demonstration Base for Agricultural Industrialization, Jiangsu Modern Agricultural Industrial Park and Jiangsu Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Park. It is the only urban oasis in Suzhou and southern Jiangsu. In accordance with the positioning of "developing modern agriculture and countryside tourism", the park will accelerate upgrade of modern agriculture, promote the development of all-for-one tourism, build a first­ class agriculture-tourism integrated industrialization demonstration zone, and create a waterfront ecological model of "green villages with beautiful landscape, clear water and blue sky".
