Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park of EDZ

Zhangjiagang Economic Development Zone (EDZ) was set up in 1993, covering an area of 57 square kilometers. More than 1,500 enterprises have already settled down in the Zone, including over 300 foreign-invested companies. The featured industries including equipment manufacturing, photovoltaic, special textile and modern service are greatly promoted in the Zone.

Now there are about 200 scaled equipment manufacturers in the Zone, including world-famous ones like Manitowoc Crane from US, ESAB Welding Equipment from UK, NSK Precision Machinery from Japan, Donghee Auto Parts from South Korea, Kingswel Machinery from Taiwan, etc. Besides there are also groups of well-known private equipment manufacturers in China such as Hailu Heavy Industry, Newamstar Beverage Machinery, Wuzhou Transformer, Xinzhong Environmental Protection Equipment, etc. A complete supporting industry chain has already formed.

 

The proposed project is in “Zhangjiagang Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park” of EDZ. It was approved by Jiangsu Provincial Government in 2007, covering an area of 5.11 square kilometers. The Park is encouraged to develop lifting equipment, beverage machinery, marine equipment, electrical equipment, textile equipment, etc.
