I. Background for Proposed Project
Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) is the only inland river type FTZ in China which was approved by the State Council in 1992. In 2008 the total amount of goods in and out of the districts reached 9.8 million tons with total value of US$ 12.17 billion, contributing US$ 665 million taxes and tariffs.
Jiangsu Yangtze International Chemical Industrial Park and Yangtze River Hi-tech Industrial Park of FTZ have attracted a lot of world-famous enterprises including Dow Chemicals, DuPont, Dow Corning, etc., most of which sell in Chinese market and choose logistics outsourcing.
II. Project Information
The proposed project is located in Jiangsu Yangtze International Chemical Industrial Park, covering an area of 534,000 square meters with approval from Reform & Planning Commission. It hopes to introduce logistic property developers to build warehouses, yards, office facilities and public infrastructure so as to attract logistics companies.
