After more than two years'' preparation, Zhangjiagang POSCO International School successfully opened on Sept.1 which is  the first international school in the city. POSCO International School is among the top class international schools in Jiangsu Province. It owns classes covering  from kindergarten to high school.

POSCO International School covers a construction area of over 20,000 square meters, neighbored to Zhangjiagang Foreign Language School. It hopes to enroll foreign students not only from but also around Zhangjiagang City. The school takes various language courses such as Chinese, English, Korean language, etc with foreign teachers from over 10 countries. The school has two departments. One takes IB( International Baccalaureate ) course. IB graduates are admitted by more than 1,600 colloges in the world including Famous ones like Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, Oxford, etc. The other takes Korea course.

POSCO International School has a total investment of RMB 92.8 million yuan. It is well-equipped with all kinds of high standard facilities including classrooms, dormitories, laboratories, indoor swimming pool, stadium and other sports fields.
