In the evening of Dec.15, Zhangjiagang Government held 2009 Christmas Party for Foreign-invested Enterprises. More than 350 foreign friends, compatriots from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, representatives and related government officials attended the party. 

For years foreign enterprises have made great contribution to Zhangjiagang''s social and economical development. According to statistics, they have contributed  1/3 of the total sales revenue of the city and 1/4 of the total tax revenue of the city. Especially in 2009 when international financial crisis happened, they have been a strong support to the healthy and stable development of the city''s economy.

Vice Mayor Bian Dongfang made a speech at the party. The year 2010 is crucial for the economy recovery. Zhangjiagang government departments will provide full support as always to foreign enterprises for their further development.

During the party, invited artists, foreign friends from enterprises and international schools made brilliant performaces. Everybody enjoyed a happy evening party.
