On Mar. 25, 2010， Michael A. Gin，mayor of Redondo Beach(California) and his group visited Zhangjiagang.   Redondo  is a beach city of California, U.S., famous for its leisureness, tourism and beautiful beaches. Michael A. Gin is the first Chinese mayor in Redondo''s 113 years history. This visit is to discuss about the exchanges between middle school students of the two cities.

Since the establishment of friendship cities relationship between Zhangjiagang and Redondo, the two cities have made good  exchanges and cooperations on different fields.

Party Secretary Huang Qin met with the group. Mr. Huang briefly introduced the economic and social achievements of Zhangjiagang City. Michael A. Gin expressed his good impression on Zhangjiagang''s city construction, planning and management. Both the leaders  hoped that the two cities would have more and further understanding and cooperation by means of exchanges between governments, enterprises and citizens.
